Dr. Olga Ziouzina

Clinical, Research, and Other Interests

Dr. Olga Ziouzina is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary. She received her diploma, with honours, from Irkutsk Medical University in Russia, and an MD from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at the University of Calgary and a clinical research fellowship in psoriatic arthritis and lupus at the Toronto Western Hospital in Ontario.

Her professional interests include clinical work and research in spondyloarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and uveitis. Together, with Dr. Kherani, Dr. Williams, and Dr. Fielden, she runs a combined multidisciplinary Uveitis Clinic in Calgary. During her career, she has played a major role in creating the Uveitis Clinic Database.

Dr. Ziouzina has authored and co-authored several research-published articles in the area of psoriatic arthritis and uveitis. She has presented at Ophthalmology and Rheumatology conference nationally and internationally, including the Western Canada Retina Meeting.
